“Hooper” is filled with an array of sonic “ear candies,” including wide stereo image on a plethora of the percussion elements. The percussion is pretty simplistic, but that allows the synths and samples during the drop to really shine through. The second drop features some pretty amazing distorted audio stops and slides, which really bring “Hooper” to the next level. Partnered with Healthy Chill’s vocals, “Hooper” places the cherry on top with his raucous lyricism. “Hooper” is a prime example for any summer trap playlist.
